SCCA / NASA / Drift Car Roll Cages
RRC Roll bars and cages are available in material sizes that meet the specs of all popular drag race organizations as well as most closed course or drifting car organizations. Keep in mind that it is the installer’s responsibility to assure that the bar or cage is installed to meet the race organizations rules as to fit or placement of components and welding process.
Road Racing and Drifting have become some of America's hottest new sports and RRC now has roll cages for them too. Our road race cages are made specifically for both the hobbyist and the serious racer looking to compete in SCCA, NASA, or Formula D Events. All road race cages feature a main hoop diagonal and dual door bars (Can be made into dual X-Bars). Our road race cages come standard in the following materials, but additional sizes are available upon request for a nominal charge.
1 5/8 OD .134 Wall EWS Mild Steel Tubing - The hobbyist looking for that road race look.
1 5/8 OD .120 Wall DOM Tubing - The serious racer looking to compete.
1 5/8 OD .083 Wall 4130 Chromoly Tubing – Not recommended by most sanctioning bodies.
Due to different requirements of tubing material and tubing sizes required for specific classes and weights, we recommend that you check with your local track and/or rulebook for specific requirements prior to purchasing the cage. Most classes will require our 1 5/8” DOM cage, but we recommend that you always double check prior to ordering.
Note: ERW Cages will most likely NOT pass tech inspection for most classes. Our ERW Mild Steel cages were design as a low cost alternative to our DOM Cages for the racers looking for that road race / drifting look. All RRC cages are weld in type cages and feature notched tube ends where applicable for ease of installation.
Note: Because of differing driver sizes and main hoop locations, roof hoop and windshield down bars are not notched! Some minor trimming may be required during installation. Please give us a call of shoot us an E-Mail if you have any questions.
